At last...

Finally, I can join in on all the work! After doing nothing but typing and editing for the past 4 days (58 pages altogether), I can't wait to get my hands dirty.

Yay!

Day 3 - Running. Along.

Ok so most of the upstairs is done, and almost all of the living room is done.  Next we move onto the dining room and kitchen area, and painting trim.  Wednesday will be full of this kind of stuff, and might see the most different kinds of tasks happening in one day ever - using rollers and brushes with the flat paint for walls and ceilings, brushing in semi-gloss paint for trim, priming the woodwork, and who knows, maybe even some random dismantling of stuff. We still could use (read "need") a lot of help, so do come on by.  This is your chance to get your personal tutorial on proper techniques in rolling, cutting in, and brush work, taught by a real working amateur.  Standard features included in all paint sessions are charming company, free food stuffs, rockin' good music, and sincere gratitude from people of the classes of 2003, 2004, and 2005.

Lunch today will consist of fresh baked pizza. Dinner has yet to be decided.  Be watching for late night breakfast food type provisions, like homemade french toast and store-bought milk.  All in all, it promises to be a blaring good time, so come by and try your hand at FiCS-ing up a house.

I (Danny) will be there starting around 10:30, 11 am or so, until maybe 3-ish.  Ted will be there 3:30-4ish, until he has to leave for senior dinner (~7).  I'll return around then to work until whenever.  Since our place is so close to campus, we can pick you up and drop you off whenever without a problem.

Lastly, be sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting painted. Glasses instead of contacts are a good idea too.  Come paint with us!
